Joiner Block

Joiner Block To join matting, simply clip adjoining warps using this joiner block. Or, cut back the warps and join the wefts. Instant adhesive may also be used for more permanent joins.

Ramp end and ramp edge combine to form a safety mitred corner on the matting. Optional reflective tape is also available.

Technical Details

Product — The matting is a solid extruded profile of flexible PVC heat welded into a duckboard configuration to achieve a long lasting industrial quality, anti-fatigue insulating, slip resistant capability for heavy duty, long lasting requirements.

Product Details — The solid warps (with shark tooth surface pattern) and wefts are 7mm wide, with warps at nominal mm spacing and wefts at nominal 36mm centres.

  • Warps — Black, Blue, Brown (Dark), Gold, Green (Olive), Grey, Orange, Red (other colours subject to quotation)

Flammability — This material does not support combustion, being self extinguishing on removal of flame. Gases evolved on flame application are predominately HCl and CO

Cutting — Use shears or knife blade and straight edge

Joining

  • Side to Side — Use proprietary Poly Marketing ‘Side Saddles’
  • End to End — Cut back warps so as to butt over weft joining ‘Saddles’

Edging — Use Poly Marketing‘Ramp Edging’ and solvent adhesive
